Steelcase Education has designed beautiful classroom furniture that will change the way you operate your classroom. I had the privilege of teaching a session during a conference this summer in a room designed by them. Even though the session was set up for lecture, you could see how easy it would be to transform the learning environment in just seconds.
A few times a year, they award grants for a classroom furniture make-over. We would love to see a SVUSD teacher be awarded this grant. We spend countless hours on decorating our room, lesson design, and edtech integration...but changing our furniture and classroom layout isn't easy. 21st century lessons, deserve 21st century classroom design.
