OrangeSlice Rubrics and Google Docs

Rubrics are a fantastic way of evaluating student work.  OrangeSlice: Teacher Rubric is a Google Doc Add-On that helps automate the creation and workflow of grading with a rubric, especially when the assignment is in Google Docs.  Start to finish, you can create a new rubric and grade the assignment in just a few minutes.  Things you can do with OrangeSlice -

1. Create a Rubric using pre-loaded categories or create you own from scratch.

2. Copy and paste an existing rubric into the Doc and run the OrangeSlice Add-On.  This is a great way to reuse rubrics and not have to start from scratch each time.

3. OrangeSlice records the grade on the Doc, if you re-grade using the rubric it will add the new grade with a date stamp.
Graded Once
Graded Twice

4.  OrangeSlice renames the assignment to show the processed grade.  This makes recording grades from your Drive a snap.  No need to open the document again to see the grade.

OrangeSlice is not a grading robot, we haven't found one of those yet.  It does however increase workflow efficiency when grading with rubrics.   It also provides a digital copy of the rubric inside the student's document.
