Seesaw's New Activity Feature is Exploding with Possibilities!

I've been using Seesaw Digital Portfolio since 2014. It's an incredible learning journal, an exceptional digital portfolio, and a phenomenal blended learning tool!

Now that it's almost 2018, Seesaw is transforming classrooms like never before!

As you know, in SVUSD YouTube has been open for 7-12 grades all year and is about to open up at the elementary level.  With Seesaw's new Activity Library, teachers can create an activity with a link to an educational YouTube video and include a template along with written and/or recorded instructions (for Littles) on how to complete the activity.  All students (or only students who need to review that skill) can be assigned the video, the template, and the instructions right in Seesaw.  Students no longer have to ask how to complete each activity because the written and oral instructions are available at all times.

No more students putting assignments in the wrong folders!  This new feature also allows the activity to automatically be filed in the correct folder when it is created and set up by the teacher. When students complete it and tap the green check, it's filed correctly every time.

So you want your students to read for fluency, but their levels are all over the place? Seesaw makes it easy to differentiate and assign different leveled text to kids with different ability levels with the touch of a button.  Students will only receive what is assigned to them and not others.

Oh, and if I haven't sold you on Seesaw just yet, teachers can share their activities with their colleagues so no one is recreating the wheel! ALL FOR FREE!

If you'd like to try it but need a little more support, please schedule a ToSA to help you get started transforming your classroom with Seesaw's Activity Library!
