From the Google for Education Certified Innovators Panel at CUE in Palm Springs, here are some quick extensions or add-ons that I learned about.
- Chrome Music Lab - All sorts of audio & video experiments for use with music or science classes.
- Checkmark - A Chrome extension that makes it easier for you to give feedback on students' work.
- Story Speaker - An add-on for Google Docs that allows you to create voice-interactive stories, complete with options and branching, for a computer or a Google Home. This is create for student writing, but also for basic coding, as the author can include "if-then-else" branching for the story!
- docAppender - Use Google Forms to give rubric-based feedback to students
- Google Similar Pages - A Chrome extension that searches for websites similar to the one you are on
- Google News Archive - Scanned archives of thousands of newspapers from around the world, some going back hundreds of years.
Here's the entire list. Enjoy!
